Project Giveback

Donated to SickKids Hospital & Native Children Toronto

December 12, 2024

This holiday season, Project Give Back was Roni’s Heart & Hope Foundation’s first initiative, raising $8,000 in 1 week to fulfill SickKids Hospital’s Christmas wish list. Thanks to Tamil Youth Society (TYS), DanceitupwithKT, Playmobil, and Boston Pizza Ajax, we brought joy to families during the holidays. Additional toy donations were given to Native Children Toronto, extending our reach. This initiative marks the start of many more efforts to spread kindness.

Walk for Roni

Our first-ever Walk for Roni was filled with community, impact, and love. With over 200 attendees, this walk raised $16,501, which was split evenly between the SickKids Foundation and the UHN Foundation. We were honoured to have Frank Scarpitti, along with members of York Regional Police and York Region Fire, join us in support. The day was filled with live music, great food. Hoops for Hope was an incredible basketball clinic filled with talent, energy, and community. Led by Ontario Tech point guard Rosheen Antonroy, the event brought together U SPORTS athletes, professional trainers, experienced coaches, and panel speakers with backgrounds in Division I, Team Canada, and JUCO
