On May 17, 2025, we hosted our first major event, Walk For Roni, in honour of Roni Antonroy’s life and legacy. The event brought together over 220 participants, including friends, families, healthcare supporters, and community leaders — all walking as one to raise awareness and support for families facing medical challenges.

We’re proud to share that we raised a total of $16,501, which was evenly donated to the SickKids Foundation and the UHN Foundation to support patient care, research, and vital community programs.

The day was made even more special by the presence of Mayor Frank Scarpitti, members of the York Regional Police, and the Markham Fire Department, whose support truly reflected the spirit of unity and compassion at the heart of this event.

Walk For Roni was more than just a fundraiser — it was a reminder of the power of community, the strength of love, and the legacy of hope we’re building together.
